Lardy Cake...

Our now famous lardy cake, made using a family recipe, has been sent, via Royal Mail, to Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, I.O.W, Guernsey, Jersey and many many places in between!...,  

 Made using fresh bakers yeast, the fresh risen dough, is laminated with Lard or solid vegetable fat and British butter, with soaked, succulent Organic Mixed dried fruit, spices and sugar... all baked in a gorgeously sticky glaze/syrup. These arn't dry , they definitely contain enough calories to make your toes curl. These are made, very STICKY and contain fruit and a VERY STICKY THICK SYRUP, as known in Berkshire, Reading and surrounding areas, not to be mistaken with the drier regional lardy cakes in other parts of the UK
